The most popular free and open source content management system (CMS) in the world, robust enough to be used by large corporations and bloggers alike. Also the easiest CMS to learn, update and maintain.
I offer three options to build or redesign your website or blog or both.
1 – I show you what you need to know to build or rebuild your own website with WordPress
I demonstate to you what it takes to to design and build a WordPress website or blog to the the specifications you have in mind and/or how to update or add additional features to your WordPress website in a three hour tutorial, online or in my fully equipped training room in St Albert.
FEES: $275
2 – I design and build the framework of your new website to your specifications using dummy text and images and show you how to swap out the text and images with your own.
With your input, I design the site plan and the look and feel of your website to your specifications and budget. Once you approve the plan and the design, I frame in the content areas of your new website either with your existing content or dummy content for position and layout only. Then, over two 3 hour sessions, online or in my fully equipped training room, I’ll show you (and, optionally up to two others) how to add, edit, update your content and maintain the website yourself thereafter. With this option, you’ll spend the most of your time adding the greatest value to your website — creating and posting content for your ideal site visitors.
FEES: $1250 to $1500
3 – I design and build your new website to your specifications.
With your input, I design the site plan and the look and feel of your website to your specifications within your budget. Once you approve the plan and the design, I complete the website with content supplied by you or written and produced by me with approval from you. When I’m done, I show you how to add more content and make any other changes you want to make
FEES: $1500 to $2500+

These are my three most recent website redesign projects. They all have this in common: I used only existing text and existing images from their current website , added a few additional photos from Unsplash to describe and visually break up some of the text and used a more modern WordPress theme so that the contents presented well on desktops and mobile devices.
St Albert Victim Services
I rebuilt their website by reorganizing the menu system, installing a new WordPress theme and used existing text , eisting images and a few additional open source images to illustrate the text and making it easier to read on desktops as well as multiple devices. I also designed their new logo.

Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation
I redesigned the menu sytem, installed a new WordPress theme , used existing text, existsing images and a few open source images and multimedia to tell the compelling story of who, how and why the foundation was founded.
FEE: $1500
St Albert Salvation Army Church
I streamlined the menu system, installed a new WordPress theme, and used existing text, existing images and a few open source images to visually illustrate the text. and, at the request of my client, mocked up the FACILITIES page.
